Good price. Some staff don’t speak good English so it was hard to know the instructions on the water. Not the friendliest people but they get the job done. Didn’t tip due to rude instructor on water.I suggest pay a bit more for a better experience.

So I’m not sure how they have a perfect 5-star. Maybe a lot of inexperienced jet ski riders? Fake reviews, because this was the absolute WORST experience ever. I am an experienced woman on a jet ski.We had the SMALLEST area to ride, they also allowed us on the water without properly explaining to us about the gas gauge so when it said I needed gas, I tried to let our “helper on the water” know this. But, let me tell you….this man was horrible. He didn’t know ANY English. Which really wasn’t even the biggest problem. The problem was his demeanor, he was very impolite and careless. Kept blowing his whistle at myself and my 11 year old daughter who was riding with me. Kept telling us to move away from him when on 2 different occasions, I needed his help. One was about the gas, he wouldn’t listen, just blew his whistle and basically told us to get away with hand gestures. Little did I know, when it says YOUR LOW AND BEEPS, you still have an hour left of gas (not sure why they are leaving their jet skis low anyways).This was not explained to us before our ride.The second time I needed him, my daughter’s nose started bleeding. Her hands were covered in blood because the waves were extremely chopping so we kept getting smashed when we tried to go in the opposite direction. Like I said, it’s like we were rats in a cage just going back and forth in a line!! When her nose and hands were covered in blood I tried to approach him again, and same rude demeanor, he wouldn’t listen. I finally had to throw my hands up (signaling to him) I wasn’t going to move. Again, he didn’t speak any English so we couldn’t communicate. My daughter had to stand up on the jet ski to show him her face covered in blood. Just a complete jerk!!!!!! He even told another member of our group in Spanish, “you need to move away and if you crash, I’m not helping you up.”I just don’t understand how careless the owner and management can be to allow someone who isn’t bilingual on the water to assist people AND someone who is just completely unwilling to help. Manager claimed most riders they encounter don’t listen to the rules. That is absolutely no excuse! I would never recommend this place for multiple reasons. The safety was in jeopardy, their customer service to their guest was less than impressive. As a wife of a business owner, I can confidently say they have a lot of work to do.
This was such a great experience. The price was very reasonable, and the staff were nice. I was nervous at first because it was my first time, but there was a safety guy out on the water with us, looking out for everyone. They let you be free and explore the water at your own pace. I will definitely book through this company again. Also, they record you from a drone, and you have the option to pay for it afterwards. It was worth the $60. 🙂
We decided to book with MDQ due to the overwhelmingly positive reviews, and if I could give 6 stars I would! Where to begin? Communicative, professional, and accommodating! Due to unforeseen circumstances we needed to adjust our reservation time, and received a text message confirming and a rebooking email confirmation right away. Before the reservation we also received detailed parking instructions and reminders and found the launch area easily. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff and checked in right away. The jet skis were very nice and we had a lot of fun on the water. Will 100% be back again, if you’re looking to rent jet skis in Miami, MDQ will be a great experience!

First time on a jet ski and it was awesome. Easy scheduling, friendlystaff, and great jet ski. As a bonus, they have a drone that captures videos of you on the water (extra charge to buy it).
1000% recommend. To be honest this is the best experience i have had in miami. I did 30min of jetski but I wish I did an hour. Hospitality is great, service is great. They take pictures and videos that you have to pay 60 bucks. Next time you bet I'm coming here
I had an amazing experience! The instructors were knowledgeable, but let you have fun… the jet skis are in great condition and the beach is a beautiful blue … you’ll enjoy the freedom in the waves and they even have a guy who takes drone shots of your ride.. if you like. I highly recommend this business and will come back.. anytime I’m in Miami
Safe, great time, very accommodating crew helped us, and super accessible right behind The Alexander Hotel from public boardwalk. Susi was so helpful and responded to our questions directly over the phone. Would recommend 10/10 and will go back if we visit Miami Beach again! WARNING: Don’t book through a 3rd party (Vacations Made Easy is NOT easy, they will make you pay a higher rate than booking direct and then make you pay an additional fee at arrival. Book directly through the MDQ Watersports website.) Such a fun experience. They will offer you photos of your adventure for an extra charge including drone footage.

Phenomenal service and an unforgettable experience. Staff was warm and helpful when it came to finding where they were located on the beach. Optional drone videos and photos for $60 each when we went and it was well worth it! For our excursion with two solo riders we received 62 photos total and a minute video with music each. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a quick and fun activity! Fair warning, your legs and hands will be exhausted afterwords.

Team greeted us by name - and super personable! Instructor was amazing and patient as well (also saved us promptly when we fell into the water). We got the chance to go jet skiing with my bachelor party in Miami. The guide was great. He was alert and observant as well went through south and north beach. This experience was great. I would highly going. Make sure you take your time and ease into it as a new driving. You have to pass an exam before you are able to go.
We had to change our reservation to a different time! They were super nice about it ! Great communication as well trying to find the boat to make sure I made it in time! We also got water and the experience was amazing for a great price definitely worth it!! If I would go again I would pick to come here again!
I typically don’t leave reviews but I had to for what an amazing experience I had at MDQ water sports the family who runs it are so friendly and informative you can really tell they care for there guests they will answer your calls right away and even text you the information you need I tried calling a different spot first but after speaking to the owner I knew this was the only place I would rent jet skis and now that I have I can confidently say my next visit to Miami Beach this will be the ONLY place I rent them from. You guys do such an amazing job thank you again we will see you soon !

I highly recommend MDQ Watersports for your jet skiing experience in Miami. It was our first time riding and they were very helpful and answered any questions we had no problem. They show you how to operate the jet ski before letting you loose and allow you to go at your own pace meanwhile having beautiful views of the Miami downtown skyline. Will definitely be booking again next time we visit Miami.
This jet skiing experience was by far the best one my husband and I, have ever had in Miami. They are owners are so kind, and kept us updated with where to meet them at and gave us bottled water in the boat ride. The jet skis were awesome, we had freedom to ride around and explore the open water. They took amazing pictures and videos of my husband and I. The BEST jet ski in Miami!! The experience was literally incredible!! We also had another booking earlier that day with another jet ski company where we waited for 40 min and they told us to wait another 1.5 hours. We had to leave and asked our refund!With MDQ Watersports, I was able to book on the same day, they were on time and provided an amazing service. Thank you guys so much!! My boyfriend and I went on a vacation to Miami just recently and wanted to take him jet skiing for his birthday. I’ve looked at a lot of jet ski rental places and looked at plenty of reviews and came across MDQ. Wasn’t pricey at all, so I’ve decided to book. Got a text about the information prior to our reservation. I asked a question and she responded back quickly. The day of, May 6, we met at the meet up spot and met Silvina, she was super friendly and welcoming. Since it was hot she offered us some water. Get to the jet ski, her husband explained how to ride and we got on and started riding. When everyone got on their jet ski we started riding, but there was something wrong with mine at first because the fastest it wasn’t going was 10 mph. I informed the instructor because he seen something was wrong and he told me to switch with him. After the switch, it was the best experience ever. He was super nice because we switched so I could really get the experience of driving the jet ski. He made it so comfortable and took pictures and videos of everyone. I highly recommend, 10/10. At the end when we were going back to the dock, the instructor tried to airdrop the photos/ videos that he took but it wasn’t working so he told us that he was going to tell his wife so she can email it to us. Hours went by, so I guess he forgot, but it wasn’t a big deal, so I texted Silvina and mentioned it to her and she responded back quickly. And even though I fell asleep before she responded back, she told me that she sent it to my email that was on file. I thanked her the next day. So my whole experience was nothing but amazing especially for my first time!

Best experience ever. Me and my husband ride with MDQ every time we come to Miami, and they never disappoint. Very friendly, kind, and made sure we was knowledgeable about the jet ski. They gave us our boundaries of where we could jet ski and where we can’t, and just let us ride, but stayed closed enough to be of any assistance if needed. Definitely will come back
